Other such nauseating words, 'on the back of that' 'moving forwards' 'let's lunch on that'

I listened to the radio this morning and they came out with a huge range of cringeworthy phrases that had me laughing till mid morning. 'sunset ideas' I mean! (never to see the light of day again)

Personally, I never want to see another flipping 'plate spinning', never want to set foot on the blasted 'pitch' and wish the americans (no other prejudice meant) would bloody well leave our language alone.

Dillusional sounds OK though, think I spend my life being deluded or am I just the eternal optimist. Either way am obviously barking and have too much time on my hands.

Fenetre - French, Finestre - Italian

Buzz word bingo - for all of you who may not have heard of this, the next time you are invited to an office meeting, create a table and fill half the squares with the type of office speak you might encounter. I dont mean words like "contract" or "photocopier". Although for novices, and the few management teams without visions of grandeur, this might work. "Blue Skies Thinking", "Paradigm", "Continuum", immediately come to mind. Strike through the words or phrases as they are spoken by your colleagues - you can't play it yourself you cheat! When your boxes are filled jump for joy and trebles all round!

I love...

Harmonic ...just to prove that the difference between triumph and failure is a whisker - try putting an "a" on the end of it.

Dillusional ...a state of mind not just for the individual.

I have some worry dolls. i keep them in my bag and in the day give them my worries, then at the end of the day they go under my pillow. i know your meant to tell them the worries at night but i find that i feel better straight after i tell them(its almost like telling a friend) and i find i dont think that much about the worry anymore.

i know this sounds a bit wierd but i find it helps to have the worry dolls with me all day
